My life journey with Christ


Love and happiness is what everyone seeks for in life. We are ready to do any sacrifices to live a life full of security and free us from all worries. Well, even I live in this so called world and seek such things. But, in my story of my encounter with Christ plays the pivotal role.

We all hear this thing called "try to build a relationship with Christ". Sometimes, it feels so bizarre to even think about it that you can have a relationship with someone whom you cannot physically see. Well, I am such a guy who will believe in such things and will try out to any extent. And there was I in relationship with Christ❤

I encountered Christ way back in 2014, but from the year 2018 my actual journey totally in Christ took off. Since then many things changed; like focus, priorities, way of life, way of thinking, etc. This changes can only take place if the Holy Spirit gives you the grace to do so. If you truly understand "LOVE" and compare it with the sacrifice on the "CROSS" you will find the answer. When Jesus accomplished everything that was needed for my salvation He said, "it is finished". Till the very last breath and the very last drop of blood, He gave it all out of LOVE.

Imagine a person's dad is a Prime Minister. He won't ever get afraid of anything for he's dad is there to back him up. Here, we have a Father in Heaven who is infinitely superior than the Prime Minister and He calls us His children. Life in Christ is full of surprises and each day the Lord will see to it that you remain in awe. 

If today I complain about something or someone which I have just anticipated, God sees to it that I am put in that situation and makes me feel, "Nah! It wasn't the way I anticipated". Many a times I fear about things whether will it work out or not. Initially, when I was just kinda knowing about having a relationship with God, my focus would hamper and I would get so worried and the anxiety would eat my peace of mind. But now, I say these phrases to myself whenever I get scared, " My God is able! I am a child of God and He's my Father and He will supply all my needs according to His wishes! If I fully trust in my God, I know He can restore everything! I truly believe it's already done for me and I praise you God for your blessings in advance!"

When you have the favor of the Lord on your side, you need not fear anything. For the peace that God gives surpasses all understanding, and guards your heart and mind to believe only in Christ Jesus. Pope Francis says, "each encounter with Jesus changes our life."

So, if you have considered about having a relationship with Christ, then just believe without wavering that you are under the care of the Lord. I hope I've inspired you in a little way. Do keep me in your prayers that God may use me more to give Him glory.

Ash Wednesday? Oh! month of restrictions.

Years fly by, and we end up starting lent season with some resolutions to restrict certain things in life. Jesus also begans His ministry by fasting for 40days. As I was reflecting on the 3 questions which the devil asked Jesus I felt like jolting down some notes for me.  What was ash used for in the Old testament? When an individual would put ash on themselves, it was to convey that he/she is undergoing repentance. We see so many examples of people and prophets from the Old Testament using ash as a symbol of repentance. Question one:- The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become a loaf of bread.” Luke 4:3 NRSV We often feel that if we have money today, we can do all things. Money isn't bad, but craving for it way too much is bad.
