The masks we wear

A short reflection on wearing masks

We all have secrets hidden in our lives and we often put masks over our face to hide them. We keep our friend circle small and share it with a few. But alas! It's gone out like a gas-perfume. How do I know whom to trust in life? Read more to find out...

According to the Bible, it is okay to not to share about your life with others. Often we are confused with the dilemma on whom to trust my secrets with and whom not to trust. Sometimes, we might have been left dismayed by that fact that we actually let it out to someone and whether that secret is going to remain a secret or not? So it triggers our trust factor while dealing with people since then. And hence we wear masks!

I believe, each person is a born actor/actresses. Because your life might be a haywire, but you hide it with a smile. We all know whom to share what, regarding our lives. And it's correct to do so. I'll give some points in this blog to help you out:-

1. Always have a Spiritual guide in your life. That is, a priest or a lay person who's on fire for the Lord. Blessed is the one who gets them and follows their instructions.
2. Parents are truly a gift from God. Be close to your parents and share with them. They will be wise enough to help you out. But, all will be not comfortable with it.
3. As we have infatuation in love, so also we get infatuated with some people who we come across in our life. And we end up telling this stranger all about out life which is completely wrong.
4. Sometimes, some religious people intimidates a person to share his/her secrets with them. It is not correct. Be comfortable with the person and then share.
5. Students who do counseling take the oath of secrecy at the end of their studies, they could be a great help.
6. Always have one best friend whom you trust in.
7. Finally, we should not forget this: "we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit does reside in us!" Always commune with Him for He is God. And you will find help from unexpected sources. Since, the time I started sharing with the Holy Spirit or Jesus at the Blessed Sacrament, often, my Lord did not fail to respond me. Cling to Christ as though you'll are newly Weds.

Praise God❤
