Whom to fear

Short reflection on whom to fear

 Synopsis:- (Mt. 10: 26-27)
> Do not fear persecution
> What Jesus tells you in dark, tell in the light
> And what you here whispered you proclaim
> Fear God
> You are worthy for God
> Acknowledge Jesus before others and He will acknowledge you before God

Reflection:-
Nowadays, in India when we hear of Christians being persecuted, it brings terror in front of our eyes. Some of us will say to themselves, "let's not get involved into such matters and better flee from them". Like how the Konkani saying goes "Apun apnak Dev somestank'" [ meaning "me for myself and God for others"].
Let's admit it, we all fear such things at some point or the other. So how does Jesus look at us? A Superman or probably an Ironman or some other superhero?
Jesus never even thinks of our body/flesh. What matters to Him is our soul. God has breathed His Spirit into our soul and therefore that's what makes some people to bold enough to proclaim the Word of God irrespective of any eventualities. According to St. Paul in Rom 8:37 " we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus who loved us". Jesus wants us to have reverent fear towards God and protect our souls from the evil one because He loves us all.
He wants every soul to return to the Father for He has the authority of destroying the souls.
Till date Jesus speaks to us through the Word of God, through priests, parents, friends, retreats, private revelations ( a state when a person receives visions/dreams/whispers/voices where the Holy Spirit tells them some insights), etc. what we need to do is impart the knowledge to others.
Jesus' whole salvific mission is in the Bible; it only takes a person to read it for themselves and apply it in life.
How nice it would be to rather speak about Christ than to gossip about people?? I truly tell you from my personal experience, if you speak about Christ in your homes/offices/get-togethers; you will surely feel like you are possessed and your speaking about things you don't know of. That's how the Holy Spirit gets an opportunity to work in your life.
My first audience whom I preached to were my mom, brother and mom's sisters after which God chose me and entrusted me to flock some youth of Goa.

Do not be afraid! Jesus loves you so very much❤
